The Ethnological Museum - Typical House of the eighteenth century, is in Church Street, directly across from it and the Municipal Museum Casa Orduña. Entry is free of charge and you can find what were the typical houses in our area 200 years ago. "Interesting right?
Ethnological Museum - Typical House of the XVIII century in Guadalest
The museum is divided into two parts::
Daily and domestic life: You can see, the pantry, a real reproduction of the household, an oven for baking bread, barnyard animals, various tools for farming, bedroom furniture and clothing of the era.
Agricultural production: It shows the process of developing the oil through a mill, tools and instruments. Also, see the reproduction of a press and tools for growing grapes. And finally, the scale model of a corn mill in operation, tools for cultivation and threshing.
Important to consider:
- Open every day except Saturdays.
- Summer time from 10:00 till 19:00 hrs.
- Winter time from 10:00 till 18:00 hrs.
- Is free you can give a donation.
